A New Chapter for Little Quilting Closet

I’m closing the shop, but opening the door to something new. Come read about where the journey is heading next!

To my dear customers, friends, and fellow makers—
First, thank you. Truly. If you’ve ever placed an order, followed along on Instagram, shared a kind word, or supported Little Quilting Closet in any way over the past few years, I want you to know how much it has meant to me. What started as a tiny shop turned into something so much more: a community, a creative outlet, and a little corner of the internet I could call my own.

But as seasons change, so too do our paths.

I’ve recently accepted a position with Moda Fabrics as a Creative Director and Marketing Lead—a role that allows me to bring stories to life through video, photography, and content strategy across the quilting world I love so much. It’s been a dream opportunity, and I’m incredibly excited about what I get to build with this amazing team. But with that new role came an important decision: I could no longer continue operating Little Quilting Closet as a retail business, due to potential conflicts of interest.

So, I’ve closed the shop—but not the door to creativity.

LittleQuiltingCloset.com is no longer a storefront, but it’s still very much alive. In fact, I’m more inspired than ever to fill it with things that matter to me—and hopefully to you, too.

Here’s what you can expect going forward:

  • A portfolio of my personal quilt finishes (and a few wild WIPs)
  • Behind-the-scenes peeks at the creative process—from sketch to stitch
  • Free pattern roundups, tutorials, and helpful resources I’ve found or love
  • Thoughts on making, meaning, and what keeps us coming back to fabric again and again
  • A sprinkle of heartfelt chaos, because let’s be honest: perfection is overrated

Think of this site now as a source of inspiration—a space to celebrate handmade things and the people who make them.

I expect this site will change over time and grow with me. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store of the quilting community, my creativity and all of the gorgeous things we will sew together!

I’ll be adding more soon, including photo galleries of recent finishes, blog posts about my process, and a few new ideas I’ve been dreaming up. It’ll be a little messy, a little magical, and always made with love.

Thank you for supporting Little Quilting Closet through its shop years. You helped build something I’m deeply proud of, and I carry that with me into this next chapter.

XoXoXo – Annie
